The Bugaloos was Sid & Marty Krofft’s pyschadelic take on the Beatles, think The Monkeys with wings. They were hippie singing insects that could fly, sometimes on surfboards. I had the hots for Joy, the girl lead. Very strange programme. Phil Collins tried out for the (male) lead.
