The Bugaloos was Sid & Marty Krofft’s pyschadelic take on the Beatles, think The Monkeys with wings. They were hippie singing insects that could fly, sometimes on surfboards. I had the hots for Joy, the girl lead. Very strange programme. Phil Collins tried out for the (male) lead.

More scary clowns. More importantly tunes from the Weed Hounds from their excellent demo, Dude Japan (download more here) who seem to be breaking up, Four Eyes, Archers, some excellent yelping from the Libyans from Boston (not sure if they have any association with the country), another track from T54 (yeah), grungy 12 inch’s from Milk Music and other guitar driven goodness.
